ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Seeing The Franchise

There are various options if you would like to see The Franchise perform live prior to booking your event. We have a number of public performances throughout the year that are advertised on Facebook, We will let you know the next one coming up if you’re interested. We can also speak with organisers of our private events to get you to come along and hear us play. Finally, we can also hold open rehearsals where potential customers and their friends/families can come along and watch us rehearse. We find that this is a very pleasant way as it gives the customers a chance to sit and talk with us in comfort.

Performance Time

The standard set time for The Franchise to perform at a wedding is 8pm to midnight however we can vary those times depending on your requirements. We understand that weddings can run late and will honour our set times should the function start later. This means that we play until no later than 1am. In addition to that, if you require a longer set (ie 8pm to 1am or 7pm to midnight), let us know and we can factor that into the fee.

A standard performance consists of two sets of classics, current and ceilidh with a short break in between (usually when the evening snack is served). If you require us to perform longer, we may take a second shorter break before the final set.

During the break, we will also play music through our PA system or if you have a particular playlist on your phone or MP3 player, we can play that for you.

Requests

The Franchise take requests, whether it’s your first dance or a special song, we can learn it. We ask that we are given at least 4 to 6 weeks notice if you require any particular songs for your event.

Equipment

The Franchise use high quality gear that’s worth thousands of pounds, we also provide stage lighting during the event. We are also fully covered in terms of Public Liability and an insurance certificate can be sent to you on request. We are also members of the Alliance of Musicians and Performers.

We are committed to making sure you have the best possible experience when you book The Franchise. We take pride in our music and nothing is more exhilarating than seeing a full and happy dance floor.
